June 30: I know I already did pictures for today, but I took some more this afternoon that I love!
This is all Hope did the whole time she was in the pool! She loves to splash!

It finally rained and Ava was super excited about jumping in the puddles. However, they evaporated really fast so she was sad that there were gone and she didn't have any to play in.

Birthdays and Playtime

June 25: Celebrating Hudson's Birthday was an all day affair for Ava. She baked and decorated the cake, wrapped the presents, and decorated for his "party". She, of course, couldn't wait to help blow out the candles so she could lick the icing off of them and eat some cake!

June 26: More easy entertainment- who needs toys when you have a cabinet full of fun plastic stuff?

Cousins

June 24: Mom got Ava a crazy mirror for her to use when she brushes her teeth. So, she and Grayson were pretending to brush their teeth and go to bed. This is them "sleeping"!

June 23: "I Don't Need a Nap"

June 18: Trying to take a picture of the girls in their matching outfits. I would get Hope to look and Ava would be making a silly face. Then I'd get Ava to look and smile and Hope would be eating a leaf. Here are a few of the many we took!

I could watch her sleep all day! Kids 1/2 mile race... Ava was SUPER excited about running!

It's been a while

Of course time has flown by and I never think to update this. I was reading a blog recently that talked about taking a picture a day for 365 days and how much fun it would be to look back over the year in pictures. I doubt I'll be able to keep it up as regularly when I go back to work, but am going to attempt to update with pictures regularly.

Here's one from a few weeks ago. Ava has been fixing Hope's hair.

June 15: Ava in the kitchen. Even though it's 1000 degrees outside, she was determined to wear the long sleeved dress. (It was mine when I was her age.) We're trying to grow her bangs out too, and they are in her face, so that's why they're clipped back!
