Ava working on her computer and phone. She leads a very busy life.

Cups

Ava found a stack of red cups in the cabinet the other day. She spent a good bit of time filling them with water from the refrigerator, then had them lined up on the kitchen counter. A little while later, I noticed the cups had disappeared. I couldn't imagine what had happened to them until I went to fix dinner and looked in the refrigerator...

Puppies

We have 2 puppies now...

We're Going to Disney World

Apparently some kids in Ava's class have been to Disney World so she knows it's a fun place. She often tells me she wants to go to Disney World. I tell her she has to talk to her daddy about that since he has all the $$. The other day we were cleaning her room and she discovered that her piggy bank had some change in it. She was excited when she told me, "Look mama, I have money. Now I can take you to Disney World!"

Christmas and New Years

It's hard to believe that Christmas is over and the New Year is already here. This past year has gone by so fast!

Christmas with Ava was fun this year... she really got what was going on and understood the concept of Santa (she didn't want anything to do with sitting on his lap), and wanted to leave him some cookies- but only if she could eat a few so that Santa wouldn't get a stomach ache!

Even though she was sick (sinus infection and fever), she loved opening presents (unless they weren't wrapped!) and has enjoyed playing with all of her new things- especially the puzzles.
