September 30: Hope has discovered that she thinks she knows what to do with crayons, pens, etc. She loves to pick them up and has actually started to try to write/ color with them. (You may be able to see her masterpiece in the first picture.) It's interesting to see the learned behaviors begin to develop, and even though it's not something we've taught her, she's learned how to do it. :)

Bye Bye Fishie

Sadly our fish, Loopy, was dragging on Sunday morning. By the afternoon he was stiffly laying on the bottom of the bowl. The day ended with a small fish funeral in the back yard.

September 27: Ava got to bring "Emily" - the class bear- home from school this weekend. Of course, she insisted that since we had Emily we had to go ride the carousel and go out to eat. So, we went to the mall, and had dinner after. Turned out to be a fun family night out.

September 18: Hard to believe that just one year ago, Hope was about an hour old! The year has flown by.

Earlier this week... it was a busy week, so we didn't get to take many pictures. This was Mon. or Tues.... Hope was cracking up at Ava who was being silly! (imagine that)
