Then and Now- Annual New Orleans Trip

 

Every year in August, Hudson attends the LRA Food Show in New Orleans. The girls and I have made it an annual trip to go hang out at the hotel and explore the area during that weekend.  These pictures were from our trip in 2010.  Hope was almost 3; Ava almost 7. 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course there was no picture of Hope on the streetcar because she was on my lap and it was really crowded!

 

 

Here are the pictures from the 2013 trip.  (Unfortunately, the picture of Ava turned out dark and I didn't realize it).  It's really fun to look at the differences in the kids from both sets of pictures, and amazing what a difference a few years makes.

Long Time No See...

Ava found the blog today, and inspired me to try to update daily again!
Kids have grown tons since the last post... Ava (8 1/2) and Hope (4 1/2).  They love to run... these are from the summer triathlon. 

Cousins

Crazy busy life... and I haven't had time to keep up with pictures. So here are some new ones.

I'm so excited that my kids live close to their cousins. What fun it is to get to grow up with them!

Halloween

Some pictures from Halloween. Hope still didn't want anything to do with her fairy costume, so she chose her swim suit again! They had fun, but were tired after a long weekend!

Trick-or-Treat

Heading to trick or treat at LSU... Hope decided that the super cute fairy costume was not for her and insisted on wearing her swim suit! (with the hat that she refused to wear this summer when we were out in the sun!)
